If you’re in the planning stage of your wedding and you haven’t selected your dream dress, here’s your chance to get a great deal and help an organization that supports breast cancer patients in a very fashionable way.
Proceeds from The Brides Against Breast Cancer National Tour of Gowns events benefit the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation. The non-profit, started in 1998, grant wishes to men and women who are battling Stage IV breast cancer.
Gowns are donated by bridal manufacturers, designers, retailers and individuals. Prices start around $199 and go up with some dresses valued up to $8,000. There are plenty of sizes so don’t think you have to be a size 4, sizes go up a 28! Local New York vendors are also on hand to help with wedding details like tux rentals, photographers and caterers.
