The 5th EORTC - NCI - ASCO Annual Meeting on Molecular Markers in Cancer in Brussels from October 27-29, 2011.
This year’s program will focus on challenges in biomarker development for clinical application in the age of multiplex testing and genome-wide screening, as well as on molecular imaging and on drug resistance. Emerging pathways for targeted therapeutics of novel molecular entities will also be highlighted.
Biomarkers now play a key role in the routine management of patients with cancer and guide drug development in the age of targeted therapy. The meeting will aim to stimulate dialogue between all stakeholders in the field of biomarker development and utilization including clinicians, laboratory scientists, pathologists, statisticians, industry representatives, healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and patient advocates. The program allows for interaction and discussion with an outstanding faculty.
