NRAA Annual Conference 2012

This fall, the NRAA Annual Conference will be held in Savannah, Georgia. The Annual Conference is the largest gathering of administrators of renal dialysis facilities. The conference is designed to address the needs of renal administrators, nurse managers, nurses, medical directors, technicians and financial/billing managers, representing hospital, university and free standing facilities. The Conference features a Medical Directors Workshop (Understanding the Regulations in the Role of the Medical Director) followed by a two-day conference, which includes an exhibit program. The 2012 Annual Conference provides an opportunity to examine the past, present and future of ESRD and patient care. This conference will provide a look at the history of the ESRD program and how it has evolved over forty years. It will also address the present legislative, legal, clinical and business issues facing the dialysis industry today and provide the tools needed to provide optimal patient care in the current environment. Lastly, the program will showcase some of the technology and projections shaping the future of ESRD care and treatment. The conference will provide medical directors, nurses and administrators with the opportunity to learn and share best practices and approaches to the medical, procedural, clinical and operational facets of ESRD patient care. Exhibitors include vendors representing healthcare supply and services, renal publications, pharmaceutical companies, devices, water treatment, waste management, computer software and more.
