The first edition of ESM -European Security Meetings- took place in 2006. Since then the business convention has been held at Disneyland Paris and organized by Advanced Business Events -abe.

In view of the evolving threats, the security of infrastructure, people and property today relies largely on dual technologies, systems using know-how shared by Homeland Security and Homeland Defence. Consequently, for its 4th edition in 2009, ESM becomes EDSM: European Defence and Security Meetings.



Eurosatory, the world largest exhibition for land and land-air defence, and abe have identified synergies between the two events. In order to offer even more business opportunities to decision makers, the two organizations have decided to hold EDSM within the 2010 Eurosatory show
