The upwards trend of increasing visitor and exhibitor numbers is expected to continue as a result of the momentum gained by DOMOTEX Middle East 2008, which saw a four per cent increase in exhibitors and a two per cent increase in visitor's footfall.
Currently, the construction and real estate market in Dubai starts to cool down to a more reasonable level, because of the fears of an economic recession. There are still a lot of projects though in early stage of construction throughout the Middle East and the majority of these projects are still to choose the interiors. Budgets have been set, but developers and contractors will of course be on the lookout for flooring they already know or even new alternatives with cost benefits.
Therefore, DOMOTEX Middle East is the ideal platform for gaining a footstep into this still lucrative market and reconfirming one's position in the Middle East!
