Biennial Worldwide Congress on Refractories UNITECR 2015

Since its creation in 1987 in Tokyo, the Unified International Technical Conference, simply known as UNITECR, has established itself as the most important international panel for scientific and technical matters in the refractory world. In addition to direct participants from the refractory industry, raw material suppliers, consumers and scientists also have a great opportunity to participate in discussions, exchange information and even debate on the best path for the future of our industry.

Unlike other events, UNITECR is a truly international scientific conference, organized successively in America, Asia and Europe. It offers participants the opportunity to learn more about the different cultures and enjoy the hospitality of interesting countries and regions.

UNITECR 2015 is organized by the German Refractory Association and will be held in Vienna from September 15 to 18, 2015. The meeting will be held in Hofburg Palace, the former residence of the Austrian emperors, which underlines the prestigious position of UNITECR. The congress will be complimented by interesting tours and events for the participants and accompanying persons. As most of you are aware, Vienna, the charming capital of Austria, is worth visiting all on its own. Moreover, due to its location in central Europe, the event offers the opportunity to visit additional destinations, such as Oktoberfest in Munich that takes place around this time.
