Interra - International Youth Innovation Forum in Siberia 2011

”Interra” Forum is the biggest east of Urals event focused on elaboration and implementation of ideas on the development of innovation economy and innovative society. By combining technocratic, scientific and arts directions it is aimed at unlocking people’s creativity in different spheres of life. Forum will take place on September 22-24 in Novosibirsk, which is considered informal capital of Siberia.

The subject of this year, already third edition of the event will be “Innovative Person and Innovative State”. Participants’ task is to facilitate the development of innovative society by forming effective models of interaction of people with the state. Most exhibitions and cultural events will be open for all citizens and guests of the city.

Meetings within „Interra” Forum were divided into five main sections and will be carried on parallel to one another: “Business”, “Science”, “Education”, “Culture”, and “Analytics”. Additionally this year event will be held in an unusual “forum-campus” format. Similarly to university town, at this campus one also can find agglomeration of educational institutions, research facilities, and other objects altogether providing the high level and manifoldness of gained knowledge. Theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills, which supposed to help the participants to prepare a project, present it, and apply for investment support. After the educational process at chosen department finishes, all projects will be assessed and authors of most interesting of them awarded.

„Interra” has it’s two years long history behind. Over 2000 authors of innovative projects, representatives of federal and regional authorities, business world and scientific community from 35 countries give evidence of unquestionable success of former editions.
