Advanced Evidence Law and Practice 2010

Designed for advocates and adjudicators who have the basics, these course proceedings delve more deeply into some of the more vexing aspects of evidence law, as well as the skills involved in putting it into practice.

Included are updates on recent developments in core areas, such as hearsay and opinion evidence. Some sessions will deal with the tug of war between advocates wishing to obtain or use evidence and those claiming privilege, public-interest immunity or other barriers to admissibility.
