California Bottled Water Association 2011 Convention

Times have been very challenging these last few years. . . be it from an elected official,
an environmental group, or the media. Information about our industry and product has
been ignored, skewed, misrepresented, and/or ‘created’ to support the position of the
entity. BPA, California Green Chemistry commission, Prop 65, new health care insurance
laws, new US Food Safety Law, and who know what else..

2011 will probably be a continuation of what has been, but who knows? California has
new leadership, (green a recycled governor) and new party emphasis. The economy
might be showing signs of improving, but I doubt may of us have seen the signs as yet.
Yet in spite of all of this we “get the job done”.
