China Joy - China Digital Entertainment Expo and Conference 2010

The China Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference (ChinaJoy) is sponsored by the General Administration of Press and Publication of the P. R. China (GAPP), the Ministry of Science and Technology of the P.R. China, The Ministry of Industrial and Information Technology of the P. R. China, the General Administration of Sport of the P.R. China, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the National Copyright Bureau of the P.R. China and the Shanghai Municipal Government. It is organized by the China Game Publishers Association, Howell International Trade Fair Limited, and Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Press and Publication. The event is also supported domestically by the Ministry of Education of the P.R. China, the Communist Youth League of China, and China Working Committee for Caring for the Next Generation, the Publishers Association of China, Internet Society of China, China Youth Internet Association, China Software Industry Association, China Intellectual Property Protection Center, the Shanghai Branch of the Communist Youth League of China, Shanghai Communications Administration, China Telecom Group, and China International Economic and Technology Cooperation Consulting Co., Ltd.. While, overseas supporters include: International Game Developers Association (IGDA), Interactive Software Federation of Europe (ISFE), Computer Entertainment Suppliers’ Association (CESA), Entertainment Software Association (ESA).

Following the Tokyo Game Show in Japan, ChinaJoy is designed to be another top event in global game industry. It is meant to strengthen domestic game supervision, actively regulate the markets of electronics and internet publications, rigorously fight against piracy in order to encourage and support legal game products, and establish a platform for the comprehensive development of Chinese electronics products.
