The British Institute of Technology & E-commerce (BITE) offers a wide range of courses at several levels in order to provide the best education for each student. These range from professional NVQ courses through to postgraduate degrees.
Our postgradute courses offer a range of Masters degrees, covering MBA, MA and MSc qualifications. We also offer the LLM, a higher degree in law.
At the undergraduate level, we offer a BSc and a BA course with particular focus on Technology & E-commerce respectively.
We offer two forms of professional qualification. The first is validated by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and provides training at various levels in management and leadership.
The second strand of professional training is provided through National Vocational Qualification (NVQ). It is a 'competence-based' qualification: this means you learn practical, work-related tasks designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge to do a job effectively. NVQs are based on national standards for various occupations.
BITE is also an accredited test centre for The International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The IELTS test is available in two modules at BITE - Academic and General Training. The Academic Module is used by candidates for admission to undergraduate or postgraduate courses and for registration with professional bodies. The General Training Module emphasises basic survival skills in a broad social and educational context.
