IT 2020 2014

The IT 2020 Summit is an invitation-only, world-class IT forum organized by the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), and the United States National Academy of Engineering (NAE). Supporters are EMC Corporation, VMware, and Inspur and Lenovo. The IT 2020 Summit focuses on Big Data, Cloud and emerging IT trends that will shape economic and industry development in China and internationally over the coming years. Attendees are C-Level technology leaders from business/industry, government, academia, science and engineering from China, the U. S. and globally.

This year’s event, the 2nd IT 2020 summit, explores the structure, applications and impact on Cloud & Big Data, focusing on key industries. The summit brings together world-class scientists from CAE and NAE, renowned experts from academia, and distinguished industrial thought leaders to explore macro IT trends and topics. Featured are infrastructure in Cloud Computing and Big Data, and their effect on China’s IT policy, economic development and continued urbanization, and Big Data applications in three industries critical to China’s continued development: Healthcare, Energy Revolution and Integrated Transportation systems.
