For the 3rd Time is within the Conference Software Asset Management Strategies 2014 of 24 to 25 February 2014 in Berlin awarded the prestigious award SAMS 2014. The Award is given for excellence in software asset management and software license management solutions to companies from German speaking countries (DACH). The projects submitted will be evaluated in advance, nominated and selected by an independent jury.
The SAMS Award 2014 will be awarded in the following categories:

1 Overall strategy / whole project
2 Innovative Tools / Softwares / Programs
3 Strategic or procedural innovation

The independent judging panel selected by we.CONECT and consist of SAM and SLM experts in the field.
As in past years, we in the names of the winners of we.CONECT donated the prize money of € 2,000 to a charity organization.

2013 was characterized Labdoo.org are supported. Labdoo.org is a worldwide non-profit social network, supported by volunteers. The aid project Labdoo.org collects old, discarded laptops for foreign projects or sometimes PC / desktops for regional projects domestically. For schools and children's and youth projects around the world are free support. Labdoo.org would decrease with the donated equipment worldwide the "digital divide" in an ecologically responsible manner.
