Congress of Polish Biotechnology and EUROBIOTECH 2012

The leading IV Congress of Polish Biotechnology and IV EUROBIOTECH 2011, the fourth edition of the international event which gathers over 400 of the most prominent representatives of science and business in biotechnology sector from Central Europe and from all over the world.

The Congress will be continuation of the conferences cycle started in 2007, dedicated to particular fields of biotechnology. The first Eurobiotech Congress in 2007 was devoted to “Green Biotechnology”. We focused on "Red Biotechnology" problems in 2008 and in the year 2010 we were concerned about the "White Biotechnology". The Congress with its leading theme the "Four Colours of Biotechnology" is organized by Jagiellonian University, University of Agriculture in Krakow and the Biotechnology Committee of Polish Academy of Sciences. It will be a combination of two scientific meetings, so far held separately: Congress of Polish Biotechnology and Central European Congress of Life Sciences - EUROBIOTECH.

An international character of the IV Congress of Polish Biotechnology and EUROBIOTECH 2011, will create an excellent platform for presentation of recent achievements and future trends of biotechnology in Poland and in other countries as well. We expect participants from Slovakia, The Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine and Lithuania as well as from other countries. We aim at creating a platform for international cooperation of scientists in the field of biotechnology.

Leading scientists in their field will be invited to give moste updated lectures on respective topics. Apart from Polish participants we expect scientists and students from other countries, especially from Central Europe. The accompanying exhibition will gather companies from different sectors of biotechnology,creating an opportunity to exchange ideas and to establish cooperation between business and science.
