For the fourth consecutive time the CONAF will be held in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Metallurgy, Materials and Mining - ABM and the Brazilian Aluminum Association - ABAL.
More than one Congress, CONAF represents the evolution and professionalization of the castings industry, in its constant pursuit of development.
It is an event that occurs every year and has become a reference for the foundry industry.
Work will be presented related to:

- Information Technology
- Other Issues Related to the Industry
In this edition, the CONAF will provide a greater diversity of themes and increased the number of speakers and participants in Brazil and abroad, should surpass the success achieved in the 2009 edition.
This year 32 papers were presented and four special lectures, four Excellence Awards conferred Technical Communication with the participation of 212 delegates.
The CONAF 2011 will also support other important entities such as the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards - ABNT, Chamber of Industriales it Casters Republica Argentina - CIFRA Mexican Society of Casters - SMF and the World Foundry The rganization - WFO.
