GEWISOLA 2011

Business companies of the agrifood sector are facing the challenge to adapt to climate change, technological progress and changing consumption patterns. At the same time, they are supposed to provide a broad range of goods and services for society, e.g. concerning food safety, environmental protection, and fair production conditions. The resulting challenges will be discussed in a wide spectrum of presentations during the conference, pointing out the specific contribution of agricultural economics to an understanding of this area of conflict.
