Midsummer Musical Retreat 2010

Midsummer Musical Retreat has adopted the goal of providing rich musical experiences for the adult musician . . .a music camp for grown-ups.

Since 1982, singers and instrumentalists, amateurs and semi-professionals have found MMR to be an invigorating, instructive and rewarding part of their musical lives. They return from "camp" each year with more confidence, improved skills, exposure to new repertoire, new friends, and greater enthusiasm for music.

The strength of MMR has been the exciting intersection of a committed, supportive, professional faculty, thrilling repertoire, enthusiastic campers, a non-competitive but challenging curriculum that includes large ensembles, chamber music and electives -- all in a supportive, fun, hospitable "Retreat" atmosphere.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from the University of Idaho are available for teachers attending Midsummer Musical Retreat. CEUs are non-academic credits assigned for learning activities. Register for CEU when you arrive at camp. The cost for 2 units (in addition to your regular MMR fees) is $135 plus $25 U of I registration fee.
