MERCOPAR - Subcontracting and Industrial Innovation Fair 2011

Since 1992, Mercopar – the Subcontracting and Industrial Innovation Fair has promoted trade and partnerships between domestic and foreign companies, irrespective of size, with the aim of fostering international competition and integration. The target public for this fair, with a professional and directed focus, consists of business people, buyers, suppliers, sales representatives and distributors in general, working in the industrial automation, rubber, electronics, energy and the environment, metal-mechanic, materials movement and storage, plastics and industrial services sectors.

The biggest subcontracting and industrial innovation fair takes place in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, which is the southernmost state in Brazil, bordering Uruguay and Argentina – a privileged location among Mercosur countries. With the 4th largest GDP in the country and good highway and telecommunications infrastructure, Rio Grande do Sul benefits from major national and international investments.

Mercopar is organized by Rio Grande do Sul’s Sebrae (Micro and Small Business Support Service) in cooperation with Hannover Fairs Sulamérica.
