Dates and Venue announced for RHIC 2015

We're delighted to announce the Russia & CIS Hotel Investment Conference (RHIC), the premier meeting for the region’s hotel and tourism investment community, will return to Moscow 26-28 October 2015 hosted by the Azimut Moscow Olympic Hotel.

Russia is going through a tough time right now, both economically and politically. The decline in the country’s economic performance has had a serious impact on tourism and the hotel market, and the immediate future is far from optimistic. However Russia is a huge market and for some companies represents up to 60% of greater CEE business in terms of sales (CEE/CIS and Turkey). Jonathan Worsley, Chairman of Bench Events, commented that “we must carry-on in the short term to secure our future in the long term”.

Last year was a huge success with more than 390 top-level executives from all areas of the industry in attendance. 75% of the audience, which included investors, hotel owners, financiers, developers, brand representatives, operators, lawyers, advisors, architects and government officials were from Russian companies, a staggering 20% increase in the number of Russian participants since 2012.
