LIGHTING JAPAN is the exhibition where all kinds of equipment, components, and materials for designing and manufacturing LED/OLED lighting devices gather.
Over recent years, technical innovation of solid-state lighting (SSL) such as LED and OLED has been rapidly progressed. Those new SSL technologies are characterised by long-lived, energy-saving and high colour purity, and have a variety of potential applications. As new light sources replacing traditional incandescent and fluorescent lamps, LED and OLED are now attracting great attention from the lighting industry.
Under such circumstances, the needs of the venue where all LED/OLED lighting technologies gather at one time have increased year by year. To this end, LIGHTING JAPAN was launched in 2009 in Japan.
