EUNIQUE - European Fair for Applied Arts and Design 2010

In the summer of 2009, Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH (KMK) successfully launched a new platform for applied arts and design with international appeal. The June premiere of EUNIQUE, a European trade fair with an unrivalled selection of applied arts and design, was widely acclaimed. Over 230 exhibitors from eleven countries presented their latest works in the categories of Interior Design, Jewellery and utensils, Fashion, Outdoor and Toys to 6,523 visitors from around the world.



The second EUNIQUE – arts & crafts 2010 will be held at Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center from 11 to 13 June 2010. “Uniqueness, top quality and innovation – these are the three pillars upon which EUNIQUE is built. We have a strong partner, the World Crafts Council-Europe (WCC-Europe), and we worked together to ensure that the selection of exhibitors met the most stringent quality criteria. The result was a world-class trade fair. We plan to build on this success in the second EUNIQUE in June 2010 and establish the exhibition as the leading trade fair and showcase for applied arts and design in Europe,” says Britta Wirtz, spokeswoman of the KMK Management Board.

Bernd Roeter, President of WCC-Europe, EUNIQUE’s conceptual partner, adds, “After the highly successful premiere event, we are looking forward to EUNIQUE 2010 with a sense of confidence. The applied arts have finally found an exhibition venue that is exclusively dedicated to the field.
