The Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets (FCBC in Spanish) announces the 16th International Fair of Craftsmanship, FIART 2012, with the slogan Art, Usefulness and Skill. In this occasion, the Fair will be dedicated to Ciego de Ávila province. Besides, it will be aimed at encouraging the exchange among the countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America, Cultural ALBA.
Since the event gets creators and possible wholesale customers together, the Organizing Committee would like to use the opportunity to promote the exports of the Cuban cultural product.
The Fair is addressed to all national artisans registered in the Creator’s Record and to foreign artisans whose works have been approved by the Admission Committee. To participate in the event, they must previously present a file containing samples of the pieces proposed to be traded in FIART. They must also present documents certifying their work, which must be issued by an entity of authority in the field of craftsmanship of their respective countries. These documents can be e-mailed in digital format or submitted in printed version.
