Very Light Jets - Europe 2011

Business Aircraft Europe (incorporating Light Jets Europe) will be staged this year at London Biggin Hill airport. The event is moving there following two years at London Oxford airport and prior to that the event was staged in Vienna and Barcelona. The event will be held over two days and include a conference, a larger exhibition and a larger static display to encompass all categories of business aircraft.

MIU has been running the VLJ and Light jet Europe event for five years now. However, the feedback from the 2010 event was that Light jets should be presented as part of the overall business aviation experience, rather than a stand alone sector. This partly reflects the slow progress in terms of air taxi operations in Europe as, to date, few operators have been able to establish any serious traction with light Jets operating as air taxis. In response to the views of operators and those attending LJE2010, we have decided to expand the event and re-brand it as Business Aircraft Europe (BAE). Business Aircraft Europe will still address the market and operational needs surrounding Light Jets, but will also set them in context and look at how Light jets operate within a mixed fleet.
