The main theme for BUDMA 2011 will be "Sustainable Construction - Investment in the Future". Sustainable development is one of the most important and most current issues in all human activities and economic functions. "Sustainable Construction" is the conscious following of economic, ecological, and ergonomic principles in construction, with the aim of optimizing building energy efficiency, assuring user safety, comfort and functionality, and minimizing natural environment impact.

A BUDMA strength is its modern, interactive fair formula. The exposition is enriched with numerous special areas and dynamic presentations, where the latest technologies and building materials are presented in an attractive and spectacular way. Special expositions at BUDMA 2011:
