Formex is the largest trade fair for Nordic interior design. The fair is a meeting place for 850 exhibitors, around 24,000 national and international professional visitors and over 700 media representatives.
 
Formex is takes place twice a year, in January and August. The fair attracts agents, wholesalers, importers, designers, producers and buyers from the Nordic interior design and gifts industry.
This autumn’s Formex had more visits than ever before, and the exhibition floor was literally teeming with activity. A total of 25,741 visits were made, compared with 24,151 last year. The fair also presented two new features: Selected by Formex and Formex Friends.
 
The number of foreign visitors increased somewhat, from 1,147 people last autumn to 1,162 this year. Most of the international visitors came from Finland, with 470 this year, followed by Norway with 139, and Germany in third place with 94 visitors. Interest from the press and media is continuing to increase; this year 786 media representatives were accredited, compared with 768 last autumn.
