The Minnesota Breast Imaging Review Course is a postgraduate medical course that provides radiologists with up-to-date information on the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. Didactic lectures include information on generally accepted practices, as well as new trends and emerging techniques in breast imaging. A collegial learning environment is provided during question/answer sessions and conference breaks where attendees and faculty have an opportunity to interact and share their knowledge. The Minnesota Breast Imaging Review Course is a postgraduate course designed to update the breast imaging radiologist on generally accepted imaging practices, as well as new trends and emerging techniques in breast imaging. This course is provided in collaboration with the University of Minnesota. Credit: Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science designates this live activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Self-Assessment Modules (SAMs): Two Self-Assessment Modules (SAMs), worth 1 SAM credit each, qualified by the American Board of Radiology in meeting the criteria for self-assessment toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in the ABR Maintenance of Certification Program are offered at this course for a maximum of 2 SAM credit hours. Other Health Care Professionals: A certificate of attendance will be provided to other health care professionals for requesting credits in accordance with state nursing boards, specialty societies, or other professional associations.
