4. Combine the unique responsibilities associated with managing the organisation's operations and setting out corporate strategy.
5. Appreciate the issues and principles associated with the corporate governance debate.

Chris is an experienced and highly successful Managing Director with a proven track record of managing companies for growth and profit. He was President of the Automation Group, Europe until joining Wellington Holdings Plc as CEO. Credentials: Chris is an MBA graduate and holds professional qualifications in marketing and engineering. He is also a past President of the British Fluid Power Association.
