Abimad - Brazilian Contemporary Home Furnishing Exhibition 2015

18th Abimad: exhibition brings together the very best furniture and accessory companies

The main goal of Abimad 14th – Brazilian Contemporary Home Furnishings Association – is to showcase the leading proposals, trends and exclusive new features within the luxury furniture and home decor sector. Split into two annual editions – one during summer, at the beginning of the year, and the other in winter, in July –, Abimad is already considered traditional in the agenda of events staged in the São Paulo capital.

With a mix of products that includes furniture and decorative objects, the exhibition is a powerhouse in the furniture segment, presenting pieces such as sofas, armchairs, tables, sideboards, buffet cabinets and chairs. There are also a range of lighting, rugs, crystals and accessories that combine quality, technology and design.

The exhibition offers a special department for welcoming foreign visitors. Among the many other actions, it provides an opportunity for International Business Meetings, a program developed by Abimad to encourage exports. Abimad currently enjoys the participation of 172 associated companies from all over Brazil.

The next edition is scheduled to run from July 29 to August 01, 2014, at the Expo Center Norte. Visiting times are from 10 am to 7 pm and entrance is free, restricted to furniture and decor accessory store owners and sector professionals. Minors under 16 years old are not permitted.
