The program will be of a high scientific quality and incorporate a wide range of topics on key areas of child and adolescent neurology, including management of spasticity, high cognitive function ADHD/LD, perinatal neurology, movement disorders, epilepsy, neurofibromatosis, palliative care and pediatric neurosurgery.

Six specific workshops will form the core of the scientific program. In each, a leading expert in a particular field will give a keynote address, followed by other invited oral presentations. Participants wishing to present at the meeting, are invited to submit posters for review, which, if accepted, will be displayed throughout the meeting.

The meeting aims to perpetuate the spirit of ongoing dialogue and bridge the gap between international neurologists and neurosurgeons for the advancement of pediatric care of children and their families.

Following in the footsteps of Fred J. Epstein, the meeting will emphasize Fred's humanistic approach and include a special session on Humanism in Medicine and a poster competition on Palliative care, compassion, and ethical issues.

Outside of the formal sessions, the meeting will afford ample time for discussion and social interactions with colleagues, in particular at the Welcome Reception and the Farewell Dinner.
