The 31st edition of the International Tourist Fair HOLIDAY & SPA EXPO took place from the 13th to the 15th February 2014 in the Inter Expo Centre-Sofia under the auspices of the Ministry of Economics and Energetics.
Deputy Minister-Chair of the Economic Development Mrs Daniela Bobeva opened the fair, accompanied by a greeting to the exhibitors by Mr Branimir Botev - deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economics and Energetics.
Prim Expo, the event’s organiser, thanks all exhibitors for their active and professional participation and wishes them a successful business year.
In 2014 over 250 exhibitors from Bulgaria and 22 other countries presented a diverse range of destinations and industry sectors.
The Bulgarian Ministry of Economics and Energetics presented on its largest national stand 25 branch tourism organisations, regional tourist associations, museums and cultural institutions.
Foreign exhibitors with national stands include: Ministry of Culture and Tourism Turkey, National Tourist Association Serbia, Agency for Promote and Support for Tourism - FYRO Macedonia, Tourist Association Romania, Ministry of Tourism Cuba, Tourist and Congress Board Zagreb, Croatia, National Tourism Board Tunisia, Congress Centre Moscow, Russian Federation.
The international participation includes companies from Italy, Spain, Qatar, the Netherlands, India, Germany, Dubai, Uzbekistan, Thailand, as well as the embassies of Indonesia and South Africa.
