HAM RADIO / HAMtronic - International Amateur Radio Exhibition - with HAMtronic - Elektronics, Inter 2014

At a ceremony at the Deeds Carillon Museum in Dayton / Ohio, was held on Saturday, 19th May, the German Amateur Radio Club the award for "Amateur Radio Club of the Year 2012" award. In the speech paid tribute to the merits of the DARC to the reconstruction of amateur radio after the second world war in Germany and the efforts to reunify the hams after the fall of the Berlin Wall. In addition, the DARC for its training activities and technical support for the radio amateurs in Germany and the European Union has been awarded. The fair HAM RADIO in Friedrichshafen was highlighted as the most significant event in addition to the Hamvention, and participation at the international level in the World Administrative Radio Conference (WRC) in Geneva was praised. Mike Kalter, W8CI, this year's chairman of the Dayton Hamvention, is expected to HAM RADIO as keynote speaker in Friedrichshafen.
