Pharmapack Europe 2014: a new impulse towards internationalization

The 13th edition of Pharmapack Europe will be held on 12 and 13 February 2014, at Porte de Versailles, Paris. More than 3,000 visitors and 320 exhibitors from over 70 countries will gather in this new venue to take stock of the latest innovations in packaging and delivery systems for drugs and healthcare products.

The programme of the 2014 edition will have as red thread a highly topical issue of major importance: compliance and security. For two days, the conferences and Workshops led by leading experts will address the latest trends, technological advances and innovations in drug packaging and delivery systems that can improve compliance, facilitate the administration of the treatments, or further enhance the safety of patients and caregivers. In addition to the main theme of this edition, the international conference programme 2014 will address many other hot topics such as: sustainability, emerging market trends, regulatory changes, anti-counterfeiting, new solutions to optimize cost-efficiency and quality of manufacturing. A significant emphasis will be placed on drug innovations for delivery systems that are crucial in the development of new injectable treatments, for instance.

Technical Symposium focused on the latest “Serialization and Track & Trace” issues.
This year, the Technical Symposium returns with a full day dedicated to “Serialization, Track & Trace. How to understand and deploy all aspects of Track & Trace in the pharmaceutical industry.”, a major issue of the 2013-2014 agenda. The presentations and round tables will enable participants to exchange with top experts on their own problematic relating to security in the pharmaceutical supply chain, implementation challenges, effective labelling systems, data management solutions, bar coding, regulatory changes from point of manufacture throughout the distribution chain.
