We have had the pleasure to welcome Mozambique's Minister for Mining and Resources Dra. Esperanza Bias, at the event each year. In her ministerial address, Minister Bias has provided the participants with the government perspective on creating fiscal and regulatory regime conducive to attracting investment in the sector and sustaining a competitive position for the industry in the long term With transport infrastructure one of the major issues for the Mozambique Coal mines, many industry stakeholders are left wondering when infrastructure will be able to meet industry demand.

To answer the industry's pressing questions, the annual Mozambique Coal conference focuses on the current and new projects and the infrastructure-related challenges, including key aspects of transport logistics, rail, roads and ports.
