CompraVerde-BuyGreen - Green Procurement International Forum is the conference-fair committed to public and private green procurement policies, projects, goods and services. It is annually promoted by Provincia di Cremona, Coordinamento Agende 21 Locali Italiane, Regione Lombardia, Ecosistemi and Adescoop-Agenzia dell’Economia Sociale.

CompraVerde-BuyGreen aims are:
• To promote a widespread culture of buying green, by updating public and private operators (belonging to profit and not-for-profit sectors) on the most recent policies and tendencies, by offering expert training and by rendering visible the latest researches and experiences concerning, mainly, waste issues and eco-efficiency;
• To promote interaction between institutions, firms and civil society organizations, highlighting the best practices and projects that exist at local, national and international level, promoting the development of new model sand the establishment of new networks and of innovative synergies;
• To favour the meeting between supply and demand of green goods and services, supporting the production and the commercialization of sustainable products and making sure visibility and development opportunities are given to those companies already committed on this topic or interested in new green strategies.

The event is addressed to administrators, officials and executives, those in charge of and involved in local and central public administrations, experts in the sector, professionals and operators of companies supplying ecocompatible goods and services, not-for-profit organizations and bodies, and all others who, for different reasons and at any level are committed to the diffusion of green procurement and good practices towards sustainability.
