SALON DES ANTIQUAIRES LUXEMBOURG - Antiques & Art Fair Luxembourg 2012

From 3 to 6 February, the Salon d’Art et d’Antiquités will be held on the Kirchberg Plateau in Luxembourg, at Luxexpo. A hundred or so antique dealers and art galleries will be there, presenting a varied and international selection.



The picture, the piece of furniture, the gem, every object is a companion for life, and its acquisition is more a matter of the heart than of the brain.

Accepting that philosophy, for the fifth time the organiser will be welcoming contemporary art, in response to a general market trend. The new generation of collectors has adopted a new attitude in the desire to be surrounded by works of art. It is becoming increasingly apparent that emotion motivates the purchaser, who is happy to flit fearlessly from one era to another, from one style to the opposite.
