Diabetes is the Global Epidemic of the 21st century. Diabetes now affects seven percent of the world’s adult population. The regions with the highest comparative prevalence rates are North America, where 10.2 % of the adult population have diabetes, followed by the Middle East and North Africa Region with 9.3%. Diabetes threatens health and economic prosperity and is predicted to cost the world economy at least US $490 billion in 2030.

This conference will act as a platform for the Diabetes Stakeholders from all over the world to engage in a variety of discussions focusing on the latest efficient strategies and tools for better diabetes Prevention and  Management.

The purpose of this forum is to bring together international experts from International health organizations, national health authorities, local diabetic associations, academics, and local, regional and global media to:

-Highlight the rising prevalence of diabetes and its complications in the world in general and in the middle east in particular
-Discuss the recent issues related to prevention, management and treatment of Diabetes
-Give Special Focus to the prevention of Diabetes, and
-Create a network of committed global and regional key opinion leaders to exchange their knowledge and experiences and by this way contribute to overall improvement of patient care.
