January 21 - 24, 2010    Macau , China
The Fair is a global event enjoying strong participation from the international diamond community. Trade bodies representing two of the world’s largest diamond trading centres: the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) and the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI) are in the Diamond Pavilion. Of the more than 300 exhibitors at the Fair, over 120 are diamond suppliers from Antwerp, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Thailand and the United States. They can be found in the Diamond Pavilion in Hall D, where they display a wide spectrum of high-quality polished diamonds, including white and fancy colours, at prices that suit a wide range of budgets.

In addition, over 100 jewellery manufacturers are showcasing a dazzling array of diamond jewellery, making the Macau Jewellery & Watch Fair by far the biggest diamond trade event in Macau.

One of the highlights of the Fair is the Fine Design Pavilion, comprising over 50 booths housing renowned jewellery houses, high-end jewellers and brands from all over the world. They showcase luxury jewellery products ranging from diamonds, gemstones, pearls to antique jewellery and jewellery timepieces.

“Macau is recognised as the Las Vegas of Asia. Similar to Hong Kong, Macau is a free port, imposing no import or export duties or tariffs on goods and services for the jewellery traders. Another advantage of Macau is its proximity to the jewellery manufacturing cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen, making it a gateway to China. We believe that the Macau Jewellery & Watch Fair will enhance Asia’s leading position in the international jewellery business,” said Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs, CMP Asia.
