Now in its fourth year, Tank Storage Canada will take place on the 16 & 17 October 2012 in the heart of Canada’s energy province, TELUS Convention Centre, Calgary, Alberta.
Canada is the world’s sixth largest oil producer, and the ninth biggest exporter, thus storage and distribution infrastructure is critical to support the region’s growth and stature in the global market.
Over the last decade Canada has significantly boosted its production as companies have developed Alberta’s oil sands. From 2.7 million barrels a day in 2000, output achieved a staggering 3.3 million last year. And that strong growth is projected to continue throughout 2012, even with the planned closure of some plants due to necessary maintenance works.
