In 2011, ICCA will organise its 50th Congress. This is an important anniversary, and a milestone date. An occasion that deserves exploring new horizons for the future development of our organisation and your industry.
The world seems to believe that Germans are meticulous and efficient organisers, and we will of course do our utmost to live up to this expectation. However, since the 2006 FIFA Football World Cup, many people in the world have also discovered another side of Germany. Germans as warm-hearted, friendly hosts, as people who love life and who can celebrate parties. In that sense, we look forward to welcoming you in Leipzig in October 2011. Let us bring to life once again the slogan of the 2006 Football World Cup: “A time to make friends”.
