Taipei Book Exhibition 2012

Gross National Happiness (GNH) has become an important indicator of the well-being of a twenty-first century nation. Seven of the top-20 GNH countries for the past five years—Australia, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, and the United Kingdom—have been invited by the 2011 TIBE to share their experiences and achievements with regard to the policies of happiness and to recommend books that best reflect their endeavors towards increased well-being.

Living and reading in Taiwan come in a bright array of living color. This section presents scholars and specialists of different expertise and their recommended Taiwanese publications that best convey the happiness peculiar to Taiwan in the colors of Eating Well, Good Living, Good Environment, Good Life/Good Leisure, Innovation, Culture and Aesthetics, Humanity, Literature and Stories, and A Better Self.
