The 35th edition of FILO has just come to a close. This has been an edition rich in changes and innovations. We have re-organized the exhibition area and oriented the event on a more international basis. It is for this reason that we have increased our collaboration with ICE, just to cite the three most important changes. These changes were devised so that our exhibitors can take advantage of the opportunities that the market has to offer. The existence of FILO is based on the companies that participate, on the very high quality of the products presented and on the continuity of the event, renewed at every edition. Even on this occasion we shaped our action on what is concrete and on savoir faire, which is a must in a business-to business fair like FILO.

Of course with the changes there were some inconveniences, which we tried to remedy promptly. On the whole the new arrangement of the spaces, with the structure prepared in the Stelline Cloister was considered positively by exhibitors, buyers and journalists. FILO has also demonstrated that the Unity of Italy can also be celebrated through yarns and fabrics, with the replica of the typical red shirt of Garibaldi, just like the original one conserved at the Risorgimento Museum by the students of the Quintino Sella Technical-Industrial Institute, a reference point for Italian and foreign textiles and another example of “savoir faire”.
