The 8 th Conference of Electronic Devices aims to disseminate the work done by research groups and companies in the field of electronic devices. This year's conference will be held in February 2011 in Palma de Mallorca, and will continue previous editions held in Barcelona (1997), Madrid (1999), Granada (2001), Calella de la Costa (Barcelona, 2003), Tarragona (2005 ), El Escorial (Madrid, 2007) and Santiago de Compostela (2009). 
The Conference is organized in thematic sessions consisting of invited and contributed scientific papers in oral and poster. Prizes will be awarded to the best posters and oral presentations. In order to give greater publicity to the papers presented, the wording should be in English following the format proposed. As the Conference is sponsored by IEEE-EDS technician (Electron Devices Society), the papers will be published with ISBN and will appear in the database of IEEE XPLORE.
