The First Tehran International Book Fair was launched in 1987 and was welcomed by those interested in book and study. In this major event, the domestic publishers put their latest publications to display and sale side by side the international publishers participating from different countries. 19 exhibitions have so far been organized annually under the title of Tehran International Book Fair.

Venue

Location: Tehran Intenational Exhibition
This exhibition center covers an area of 1.3 million sq.m. and consists of 62 halls. The first international exhibition in Tehran was inaugurated in1969 at the same venue.
