40th edition of the International Plants and Flowers, Technology and Garden DIY Fair set to open its doors on 5th, 6th and 7th October
In a context in which urban development plans are increasingly including the creation of green spaces and citizens are becoming ever more vocal in demanding that cities grow sustainably, landscape conservation and restoration projects have experienced substantial growth in recent years.
This situation has led Iberflora's Organising Committee to create a new sub-committee for the 2011 fair that will focus on sustainability as applied to natural and urban landscapes.
Exhibiting at the 40th Iberflora, the International Plants and Flowers, Technology and Garden DIY fair which runs from 5th to 7th October, is set to be more economical thanks to the support packages that the organisers have put in place to enable companies to exhibit at the show at the least cost possible.
The measures were announced by the fair's president, Vicente Alcayde Peris, who confirmed that in economic circumstances such as at present the fair's main concern is that all agents involved in the industry participate actively.
