KunStart is part of a region with a renewed artistic sensibility that already hosted the Biennial of Contemporary Art Manifesta 7 and today has become an authentic district for the arts thanks to its prestigious exhibition spaces: the Museion in Bolzano, the Mart in Rovereto, the Galleria Civica di Trento and the Kunst Meran Arte in Meran. Museums join the growing activities of associations, research centers and galleries to form a regional system for the contemporary art. A lively and versatile environment, in which new generations of collectors emerge as well as a multilingual and multicultural venue, which is to become a privileged meeting place for art dealers and enthusiasts.
