ARCO Madrid_ organization progresses in its 30 th anniversary 2011.

The next edition of ARCO, International Contemporary Art Fair to be held from 16 to 20 February 2011, aims to be a memorable call because they not only celebrate the thirty year history, but also for the innovative changes that occur and the response of the galleries.

On this occasion, the Fair will feature a dozen Russian galleries, representing FOCUS RUSSIA selected by Daria Pyrkina, curator of the National Centre for Contemporary Arts and a professor at Moscow State Lomonosov University.

Also, the SOLO PROJECTS: Focus Latin America, will be joined by Luisa Duarte, independent curator from Brazil, Daniela Perez, associate curator of the Museo Tamayo in Mexico and Julieta Gonzalez, associate curator of Latin American art at the Tate in London, for selection of galleries, artists and proposals.

Alongside this, the program OPENING: Young European galleries, which bring together a selection of galleries with less than 8 years old from different parts of the continent with particular interest in emerging countries.

In the coming days, ARCOmadrid begin its international promotion, in collaboration with the City of Madrid. Sao Paulo, Paris, Moscow, Miami and Lisbon are the destinations chosen by the International Contemporary Art Fair to present the draft of its thirtieth edition.

Remember that the next September 15 is the deadline for submitting applications for participation in the General Program and ARCO 40.
