Established in 1987 by the Angers Exhibition Centre, with the support of the Loire Valley Joint-trade Organisations (BIVC, CIVN and InterLoire), over the years the Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair has become one of the most important wine events in Europe.
This first trade event of the year in the wine-producing world is devoted to a single wine-producing region, the 3rd largest in France. It offers the opportunity for approximately 600 exhibitors from the Loire valley and more than 9,000 French and foreign (12.8% in 2009) buyers to meet over a 3-day period.
The wine industry professionals of the Loire Valley fully appreciate the quality of contacts generated by the event, and the spotlight on their work, and in particular on their latest vintage. This has made the Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair an essential business communications tool for the whole wine growing region, in French as well as in international markets.
