Montreal, gem of the St. Lawrence, the Paris of North America, “la Ville aux cent clochers” - like all clichés, these phrases both blur and reveal the truth. Founded by French explorers more than 350 years ago, it is among the oldest cities on the continent, its history a rich backdrop to its vibrant multicultural life. The "joie de vivre" is palpable and contagious in this vibrant, culturally diverse and cosmopolitan city of two million inhabitants.

Montreal provides the perfect background for CFAS. On top of its standing as a notable conference location, it has an excellent reputation as a city of science and medicine. We are proud that the city has developed into a leading location to host international and national medical and health care conferences. It is against this backdrop that the Scientific Organizing Committee is actively building a program to showcase the leading science and emerging practices in Fertility Preservation, the theme for this year’s meeting.
