National Technical Training Symposium 2009

The Vibration Institute will conduct its 2009 National Technical Training Symposium (33rd Annual Meeting) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania from June 23 through June 26 at Hilton Harrisburg. The purpose of the Symposium is to provide specific training in practical vibration technology. The 2009 National Technical Training Symposium is intended to expose participants to basic and advanced condition monitoring techniques using lectures, case histories, and delegate discussions. Identification, analysis, and correction techniques are applied to a variety of machines and structures. Specific topics include induction motor analysis and monitoring, pump vibrations, fan design, advanced signal processing and analytic techniques, bearing fault detection, wireless monitoring, and machine monitoring. Vendors will exhibit equipment for conducting condition-based monitoring using vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and ultrasound. The exhibits provide registrants an overview of the technology available for the effective operation of a predictive maintenance program.
