Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress 2012

This year, the Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress 2012 will be held from 28 – 29 September 2012. Inaugurated in 2002, the National Healthcare Group’s Annual Scientific Congress was re-branded as Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress in 2010 and has attracted more than 2,000 participants annually.

Our theme for this year is “Reshaping Healthcare: Deepening the Foundation for Quality and Safety, Igniting the Engine for Education and Innovation”, which aims to push the boundaries of radical transformation, strengthen the foundations of clinical quality and safety by improving current models through innovative ways.

We have arranged an exciting programme that will focus on Cardiovascular Medicine and Health Profession Education. There will be plenary sessions, parallel track sessions covering Healthcare Quality, Disease Management, Emergency Medicine, Research and more. Concurrently, SHBC 2012 will also host the annual Primary Care Forum. This meeting will provide an opportunity for participants to learn and share about the latest research and perspectives and to listen to renowned speakers.

The SHBC 2012 also presents to you the Scientific Competition, an open competition for local and overseas medical and scientific professionals. We are inviting all interested medical professions and students from Singapore and the region to submit their abstracts for the competition.
